Zoo Boo: Sept 16 - Oct 31, 2023

Get ready for the best fall event in Texas Hill Country! This non-scary Halloween event will be open daily from September 16 – October 31 with zoolightful activations like live music, costume parties, multiple realms of Halloween fun, daily FREE trick-or-treating hour, and exciting interactions for little ghouls, goblins, and of course, your boo. Pumpkin Nights: Sept 21 - Oct 30, 2023

Next on our things to do in Texas Hill Country list is Pumpkin Nights! This event is located at Pioneer Farms in Austin, and ticket prices range from $20-$28/person. During the event, you will venture along a half-mile walking path, where you will discover the Forbidden City, a Pirate's Cove, and more lands built using over 7,500 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins.

Sundrop Springs Fall Festival: Sept 29 - Oct 31, 2023

One of the best fall events to attend in the Texas Hill Country is the Sundrop Springs Fall Festival! This 22-acre farm on the north side of New Braunfels offers a unique fall package that includes fun attractions, a haunted trail, pumpkins, and farm animals! Hours vary between weekday and weekends but admission price is $20/adult and $12/kid (4-10). 

 

Dia de los muertos is a family-fun event that celebrates life and death.

40 Years of Día de los Muertos: Oct 28, 2023

Día de los Muertos is an observance and embrace of the cycle of life and death. It includes unique festivities, commemorating family and friends, while also celebrating the Mexican and Mexican American Culture. For 40 years Mexic-Arte Museum has collaborated with Austin to create traditions and celebrations. This year they celebrate 40 years of those festivities that include a grand processions, arts & crafts, traditional foods, local artist booths, and live performances throughout the day! The Pumpkin Patch at Float In: Sept 30 - Oct 29, 2023

With our fall events list, pumpkin patches are a must to mention. The Pumpkin Patch at Float In is an annual patch that includes kid games, music, contests, fall drinks and treats, face painting, patch bag creation, vendors, and more! It is open Thur - Sun, and is $15/adult and free for kids 3-11 years old. Check out more information on their website.

Wurstfest: Nov 4-13, 2023

One of the top things to do in Texas Hill Country is attend Wurstfest in New Braunfels! During the 10 day celebration, guests can expect to eat delicious foods, have a wide selection of German and Domestic beers, the best music, shopping, and so much more!
