Camping in the Texas Hill Country offers a serene escape into nature - you will be surrounded by rolling hills, oak trees, and of course Canyon Lake, which is only 20 minutes away from our park. This provides great opportunities to fish, tube, and enjoy the scenic views of the water. There are also some beautiful towns close to our Camp-Resort such as Gruene, where the oldest dance hall in Texas lives. As you can see there are many things to do in Texas Hill Country, and our Canyon Lake campground is a great home base.

Hill Country Cabins

If you are looking for a family-friendly Canyon Lake cabin, our Hill Country Cabin may be your best choice. This cabin sleeps up to 8 people and includes a queen bed, a twin bunk bed, a full futon, and a loft area with two twin mattresses. In addition, there is a kitchen, a full bathroom with a bathtub, AC/heat, cable TV, a picnic table, a fire ring, and a charcoal grill. Sit out on the covered porch for a great view of the outdoors!

Lodge Rooms

Looking for a cabin that is more efficient for your small family? Our Lodge Room sleeps up to 6 people and includes 2 queen beds and a twin bunk bed. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and 2-burner cook top. In addition, there is a full bathroom with a bathtub, AC/heat, cable TV, and a common patio area with picnic tables and charcoal grills. Plus, this cabin option is close to our main attractions!

Yogi Bear™ Cabins

Another great cabin in our portfolio of Canyon Lake lodging is the Yogi Bear™ Cabin. This cabins sleeps up to 8 people and includes a queen bed, a twin bunk bed, a full futon, and a loft area with two twin mattresses. It also comes with a full kitchen, bathroom, AC/Heat, cable TV, and outside space with a picnic table, fire ring, and a charcoal grill.

Our Premium RV Sites are a great option for RV campers who are looking to enjoy full hook-ups but with a gravel pad. Our Hill Country RV park offers back-in and pull-thru options and include electric, sewer, and water hook-ups along with a fire ring, and picnic table.

Best Water Activities near Jellystone Park™ Hill Country

Thanks to our campground being close to Canyon Lake, there are tons of water activities campers can do while they are staying at the park. If you are looking to tube, we partner with River Sports Tubes to provide transportation to the Guadalupe River for tubing. Looking for a good Canyon Lake fishing spot? There are various locations near our campground such as River Acres Park (20 minutes away), Himman Island Park (25 minutes away), or Overlook Park (7 minutes away).
