Junior Ranger Program
What is the Junior Ranger Program?
A fun and educational program designed to teach kids about stewardship, responsibility, and protecting the outdoors through the “Leave No Trace” Seven Principles. By participating in special weekend events, kids can earn a badge and join Yogi Bear™ and friends in making the world a better place.
How to Earn Your Badge
To become an official Junior Ranger, kids must participate in at least 3 of the 5 scheduled activities during a Junior Ranger Weekend. After completing these, they’ll receive a graduation certificate and have their Junior Ranger Badge mailed to them!
Program Cost & What's Included
Registration is $50 per child and includes a Junior Ranger drawstring bag, journal, pen, hat, badge (earned), and exclusive weekend activities. Open to all, but best suited for ages 6–12.
Junior Ranger Weekend Schedule
Each weekend follows a 5-activity structure, including an initiation ceremony, skill training, nature craft, teamwork challenge, and a graduation ceremony with s’mores! Activities are only revealed to registered participants to keep the program special.
